一、STUDY(学习类)

Q1Do you work or are you a student?

Ok版:

I'm currently a high school student at an international school here in Hangzhou. I'm in my second year, which is equivalent to the 11th grade in the US system. I'm fully focused on my studies right now, especially preparing for my A-Level exams.

I'm still a student — second year at an international school in Hangzhou. My life right now is just subjects, exams, and trying to figure out what I want to do before I turn 18.

Basically my life is just getting up at six, going to bed at eleven, and spending the rest of the time in a classroom. Pretty standard.

My schedule is packed — Chinese, maths, English, physics, chemistry, biology, you name it. It's a lot, but I'm used to it by now.

I'm a high school student and I live on campus. So I eat, sleep, and study all in the same place. Sounds boring, but honestly, I don't have time to think about it anyway.

I'm a student, but technically I'm done with high school — I got my university offer already. So right now I'm just waiting for September to start. Nothing to do, nowhere to be. It's actually kind of weird after all that pressure.

Q2What subjects are you learning at school?

ok版:

I've chosen three main subjects for my A-Levels: Economics, Mathematics, and Psychology. You know, to meet the standard of college application, I have to choose at least three courses.

Among which, Economics is my favourite because it helps me understand how the real world works.

I'm taking Economics, Maths, and Psychology for my A-Levels. Gotta pick at least three or universities won't even look at me. Economics is my favourite though — it explains why everything keeps getting more expensive, which is both useful and depressing.

I do Politics, History, and Geography, plus Chinese, Maths, and English. A lot of reading and memorizing, but it's actually pretty interesting.

Q3Do you like your subjects? Why?

ok版:

Absolutely, I really enjoy them. Economics is my favourite because it helps me understand how the real world works — like why prices go up or how businesses make decisions. It's not just memorizing facts; it's about thinking logically and making sense of everyday life.

Yeah, I actually do. Economics is the one I genuinely look forward to — it explains stuff I see every day, like why my favourite bubble tea keeps getting pricier. That's way more interesting than memorising dates.

I actually do like science subjects. Physics is my favourite — it feels like solving puzzles. You have a problem, you find the rule, you get the answer. Very satisfying when it clicks.

Honestly, I don't love all of them. I mean, who loves every subject? But I do enjoy English class because we get to watch videos sometimes and learn about different cultures. That's a nice break from all the formulas and essays.

For大学生

一、STUDY(学习类)

Q1Do you work or are you a student?

Ok版:

I‘m currently a second-year university student, majoring in Economics and Management with a focus on Marketing. I’m really passionate about learning how businesses operate and how to connect products with consumers in a meaningful way.

I‘m a second-year uni student, majoring in Marketing. So basically I’m learning how to convince people to buy stuff they didn‘t know they wanted. It’s more interesting than it sounds, I promise.

Q2What are you studying at university?

ok版:

My major is Economics and Management, and I've chosen Marketing as my concentration.

So I’m taking courses like Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Market Research, and Digital Marketing. I also have some foundational courses like Microeconomics and Business Statistics to build a solid base.

I'm doing Marketing, so it’s a mix of psychology and business — Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Digital Marketing.

Basically I'm learning why people buy what they buy, and how brands get inside your head without you noticing.

Q3Do you like your major? Why?

ok版:

Absolutely, I love it.

What fascinates me most is how marketing combines creativity and data. You have to be creative to design compelling campaigns, but at the same time, you need data to back up your decisions.

It's like solving a puzzle — you figure out what people want and how to reach them effectively. It never gets boring.

Yeah, I really do.

What I love is it’s not just about selling stuff — it's part psychology, part data, part storytelling. You figure out what people actually want, then convince them you’ve got it.

It changes every single day, so it never gets old.

一、STUDY(学习类)

Q1Do you work or are you a student?

ok版:

I'm currently a second-year university student, majoring in Economic Statistics with a minor in Computer Science.

It’s a pretty demanding combination, but I really enjoy the challenge of working with data and technology together.

I‘m a second-year uni student, double-footing in Economic Statistics and CS. So basically I spend my life staring at data and writing code. It sounds nerdy because it is. But I actually enjoy it.

Q2What are you studying at university?

ok版:

My major is Economic Statistics, so I take a lot of courses in probability, regression analysis, time series, and econometrics. On the CS side, I'm learning programming in Python and R, as well as database management and machine learning basics. The two fields complement each other really well — statistics gives me the theory, and CS gives me the tools to apply it.

I’m doing Economic Statistics with a CS minor — so probability, regression analysis, econometrics on one side, Python, R, database stuff on the other. Stats gives me the theory, CS gives me the tools to actually use it. They go together surprisingly well.

Q3Do you like your major? Why?

ok版:

Yes, I really enjoy it. I find it fascinating how we can use data to uncover patterns and make predictions. For example, forecasting economic trends or consumer behaviour. It's like being a detective, but with numbers. What I love most is that the skills I’m learning are highly practical and can be applied to almost any industry, from finance to healthcare to tech.

Yeah, I really do. There's something satisfying about finding patterns in data that other people don’t see. It's like being a detective, but instead of clues, you’ve got numbers.

And the skills work everywhere — finance, healthcare, tech — so I'm not locking myself into one path, which is nice.
